Because Race day is all about YOU.
The 18th Annual Susan G. Komen Columbus Race for the Cure will be held on Saturday, May 15th and we hope to see you there. If you haven’t already, please visit www.komencolumbus.org and log in as an individual or team participant and register for the Race.
To celebrate your survivorship more, Komen Columbus would like to make sure you’re aware of a new opportunity. For every $50 you raise in Race-related fundraising, you’re eligible to receive two free tickets to the Cleveland Indians vs. Detroit Tigers game on Sunday, May 9th, Mother’s Day. You’ll also be invited to participate in the Survivor Parade and human pink ribbon, which will be formed on the field.
To begin fundraising, using the your username and password, log into your Participant Center. Here you can send e-mails to all the contacts in your e-mail address book, update your personal fundraising page with your information and manage your online fundraising.
All survivors who are interested in receiving tickets to the May 9th game in Cleveland and have raised $50 or more will need to contact us by April 23rd to request their tickets. Quantities are limited so please no more than 6 tickets per survivor.
We hope to see you at the Race! SurvivorPalooza, a special Survivors-only area, will be open by 7:30am and feature massages and spa treatments by the Charles Penzone Salons.
If you’re interested in attending the race, but are unable to walk the one mile or 3.1 mile course, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 614-297-8155 ext. 206 as soon as possible and we’ll save a spot for you on the Survivor Express!
Please plan to stick around after the Race for the Survivor Ceremony and Awards Celebration. Heather Pick’s husband, Joe Cygan, will be performing and Chris Spielman, Stefanie’s husband, will be speaking.
