It is no secret that Nancy G. Brinker, founder and CEO of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, has a long list of achievements tacked on to her name. Not only is she the head of the largest breast cancer organization in the world, she is also a devoted mother, dedicated volunteer and author.
This coming September, Broadway Books will publish Promise Me, the powerful and inspiring memoir by Nancy G. Brinker. Nancy took a vow the day her only sister died from breast cancer that she would do everything in her power to save other women from the same fate. She has dedicated nearly 30 years of her life to raising breast cancer awareness as well as funding for new and innovative research to find a cure. She single-handedly has changed the way the world identifies with the disease.
