Rally for the Cure® is a program about people committed to making an impact in the fight against breast cancer by organizing a golf, tennis or social event. Sounds like a win-win situation to us – good people doing good things while having fun!
Planning a Rally event is easy. You can incorporate it into an existing event you might already be planning, or start something new for the summer. Most people chose to Rally through golf or tennis. However the program is easily adaptable to other activities such as, bridge, bunco, mahjong and other fitness pursuits like yoga, spinning and swimming. No matter your interest, there’s a way to get involved in the fight against breast cancer.
To make the process as easy as possible for you, Rally program organizers will provide you with sign-up sheets, posters and flyers to promote the event among your club/community members, friends and family.
Each participant pays a $20 entry fee (non-tax-deductible) for a chance to win a grand prize, receive event favors, breast health information and a subscription to a select Condé Nast magazine. Rally programs have affected more than 1.65 million people and have generated over $50 million for Susan G. Komen for the Cure® since 1996. Will you be a part of its success this summer?
If you’ve already held a Rally event this summer, we’d love to hear about how you got involved. Contact us to share your story.
