It was a day of laughter and catching up with old friends and making new ones as we held a photo shoot for our “Twenty Faces of Komen Columbus,” a wonderful group of volunteers, survivors, sponsors and supporters who we profiled from January – May in preparation for this year’s Race.
The men and women who made up this group came dressed and ready for their close-ups as we captured their photos to display as artwork during the Pink Tie Ball. The Ball will be a celebration of our 20 years of Race for the Cures and will be held September 8, 2012 at the Columbus Museum of Art.
Thanks to the Museum for hosting our photo shoot to commemorate this very special group; what a beautiful setting and we cannot wait to be back in the Museum for the Ball in September!
We would also like to thank the talented team of professionals from the Charles Penzone Family of Salons for giving their talents to help our special guests feel pampered.
Last but not least, thanks, to Karyn Hanley of Karyn Hanley Photography for generously donating her time and energy to capture the true essence of all of our guests.
Be sure see all the beautiful pictures at the Pink Tie Ball on September 8. For more information or to be put on our mailing list, please click here.
