On Saturday, September 8, the Columbus Museum of Art will be bathed in pink as we Illuminate the Cure through the inaugrual Pink Tie Ball.
The formal event will recognize the milestones that have been made in the last 20 years in the fight against breast cancer. Thanks to the support of volunteers and advocates, thousands of women have gained access to mammograms, education programs and treatment options.
While we’ve made progress against this disease, the battle has not yet been won. To continue to engage new members of the community in this fight, we invite you to take part in the Pink Tie Ball through contributing an ad to our Tribute Book.
The book will honor survivors, our founding members and the hundreds of supporters that have made Komen Columbus the affiliate it is today.
Interested in creating an ad for the tribute book? Honor a loved one, celebrate your personal breast cancer journey or recognize an organization for its commitment to the fight.
Please help us strengthen the promise to end breast cancer by honoring the cause and those who have fought with us. The proceeds raised from the sale of the advertisements will help us fund education, screening and treatment programs in Central and Southeastern Ohio, as well as scientific research to find the cures. With your support, we will become one step closer to our vision: a world without breast cancer!
Submit your commitment form by August 10.
