We were all so saddened to hear the news from the Boston Marathon yesterday. Our hearts go out to all those affected and we’re sending thoughts of strength and hope to those who have been injured. Our Race is approaching in just a little over a month and we wanted to take this time to assure all our participants that safety is our No. 1 concern. Our staff has spent months planning for this event, coordinating with Columbus police, fire, EMS and the Red Cross to ensure the safety of everyone who attends the event.
We are proud the Columbus Race for the Cure has become such a strong community event and appreciate your support in the fight against breast cancer. We will not back down in the face of tragedy as we work hard to see the reality of a world without breast cancer as too many of our loved ones are affected by this disease.
